November – A Month of Books

Hello Everyone! Another month has pasted, and that means it’s time once again for my monthly book wrap-up. This was a very slow month for reading. I don’t know if it was because of the holidays or work, but I only ended up reading three books.

The Girl in Hyancinth Blue by Susan Vreeland

I feel in love with The Girl in Hyancinth Blue. I could barely put it down. I think that Vreeland has successfully made her novel into a work of art. The way that she has described the Dutch landscape, the style and clothing of so many different time periods, and the rich beauty of the Vermeer painting that she invented is all so beautiful.
