This is the second book I’ve read by Hannah Jayne and I can honestly say I enjoyed this one a lot more.

Sawyer is a likable character if maybe not a super strong one. In some ways she is, in that she’s a survivor of some pretty rough things like some major bullying and an abusive boyfriend (not a spoiler, it’s basically on the back of the book). She’s a good character because she’s very realistic. It’s hard to deal with what she goes through and she reacts the way a real person might, struggling with how much to share and who to tell.

The mystery was good, especially since while there were several suspects and you could kind of guess towards the end who it was, they all seemed pretty viable. The hints were subtle, but valid, and in the end it didn’t feel like…
